My first ever tank setup! It’s a 10 gallon, all the plants are fake but they’re all soft, no hard plastic (I know live is preferred but I don’t feel ready yet to learn how to take care of plants LOL plus I like being able to move things around). I sanded down the wood and also baked it in the oven to disinfect it before soaking. Starscream seems very happy and he’s super active and not scared of me at all, he’ll even swim through my fingers. He has a heater and filter and I’m checking the water parameters every day, he eats fluval bug bites and occasionally bloodworms, I’ve been doing lots of research because I want to give him a good life. How am I doing? Any suggestions?
