What is the best betta pellet? I have the BettaMin small pellets, but my little dude keeps spitting them out and then not eating it. May be too hard or big for him?
I also have the Fluval dried blood worms which he seems to enjoy.

I have the bugs bite betta formula and my boys love it! Also frozen brine shrimps are a good food, mine get blood worms once a week too
Oh my gosh he’s a cutie!
So I’m a little obsessed with betta food and love to give my boys variety. I also have seven bettas so it’s feasible for me to have a lot of food. I have five different pelleted foods I rotate between; NorthFin Super Betta, Fluval Betta Bug Bites, Ultra Fresh Shrimp Patties, Hikari Betta Bio Gold, and Omega One Betta Pellets. I just got the last two, and haven’t fed them yet so I can’t speak to their palatability but I’ve seen lots of good stuff about Hikari. I think Hikari is one of the most recommended foods on this sub.
I can say my boys love the Shrimp Patties and Bug Bites the most out of the first three. I do recommend having some variety, but you definitely don’t need five different foods. Lol.
I also have frozen mysis shrimp and blood worms they get as treats once a week. These are their favorite!
Hard to narrow down “the best”, but here are some decent options that are widely(?) available:
Northfin (normal Betta formula, not Super Betta which should only be used as a supplement)
New Life Spectrum
Fluval Bug Bites Betta (ideally with another food, 12.5% min fat is a bit high to be feeding exclusively to bettas)
Hikari Bio-Gold Betta
I second the ultra fresh brand all my bettes guppies minnows love these
