wondering which i should get for surf fishing/inshore fishing south western CT. the saragosa is $200 and the saltist is $150. Would really appreciate some comments from people who have either reel.

I have Saltist, I had the bail pop up on me when the line comes tight on fish a couple times. I don’t recommend it.

Probably the saragosa in my opinion. I have one and its been dunked but still works buttery smooth

The gosa is much more widely accepted as a bread and bigger reel for big/tough fish… it has a reputation for a reason
