My curado dc was working just fine up until a few days ago haven’t used it since. I wanna see if someone in this group knows what’s wrong with it. I had 40lb braid with some mono backing on it. I’m scared to mess with it tbh. I’ll probably take it to my local tackle shop and have them check it out if I can’t figure it out myself.

Just stop by any local fishing store they usually have a guy who repair reels. New reels have lighter material and parts that can breakdown with heavy use. Before my Steelhead season starts I have all 5 of my reels serviced, not once has a reel failed me of a trip on a fish. I’m
The reels aren’t built like they were in the 80’s-90’s Shimano Batam or Abu Garcia C3 could take more abuse.
