Shimano ultima/Stella combo for saltwater?

Hey guys,
I fish salt water off rocks/jetties for striped bass/perch/halibut and have a chance to get this fishing combo for a decent price (I think).

They’re selling a Shimano Poison Ultima 7ft Medium and a Stella 2500FK for $750.

Should I take this deal, and is it fine that I’ll be using a non SW stella in Saltwater conditions? Right now I currently have a 9’6 rod with a 5000 vanford that’s light but I feel too big sometimes and want a smaller rod to do my finesse with plus a being able to use it for freshwater trips would be nice even if they’re more rare outtings for me.
