Got the kayak out yesterday on a cold day up here in central Ontario (Muskoka area) caught my first stocked splake, such a beautiful fish. Spent most of my day on the lake, but only ended up with this guy while trolling a floating Rapala with some split shots. If anyone has some tips on fall fishing these guys I’d love to hear them. I tried inline spinners & some spoons, but the Rapala was what did the trick.
