Meet Oiram. He got added to the tank sooner than ideal since my cycle wasn't finished. I had hitchhikers come in on one of my plants (I'm assuming the moss patch). Next thing I know scuds were destroying everything. I have done fish in cycles on my other tanks so I decided to introduce him after only 2 weeks to hopefully save the environment. I went to PetSmart and picked out the saddest looking guy there so I could in a worst case scenario at least give him a greater hospice experience. I really should have taken a picture that first night, but, after only 3 days he's much more colorful and out exploring. I also don't see any jerk scuds so they've at least been forced into hiding. I'll be checking water parameters closely for a while but excited to finish this tank for my new friend!
