Absolutely love St Croix Avid with Shimano Vanford and just broke in my new heavier set for bass and pickerel. For this set I got the 6'6" Medium Light/Fast action with Vanford 2500. It's surprisingly stout but smooth as silk and balanced. Overall weight is so light making is real easy for long days. Completes my load out with my 6' Avid ultralight panfish series / Vanford 2000 and 4'10" Trout series / Vanford 500.
