Help I don’t know what this is…does anyone know what is coming out of his head?? It wasn’t there yesterday & turned on his light this morning & saw this. Only good photos I was able to get.

Maybe cotton wool disease or some bacteria infection?
cotton wool disease. basically you want to treat with an antibiotic and an antifungal, or a combined med to fully get rid of it.
You probably caught it early enough for treatment to quickly work, seen people who waited until fish were full on looking like fuzzballs before…
People are saying bacteria infection i would guess that’s what it is but also just wanted to say it looks like an adorable forlock like a pony
The whole fish looks like it should have been addressed
First set up a separate tank (hospital tank) make sure to add a heater and keep pristine water. You could do some salt baths for mild cases. But mainly I think you should treat with available products like malachite green, formalin, potassium permanganate, and copper sulfate. just make sure to really do your research. in severe cases you can use something like methyl blue
