Hello friends! A few months ago I posted a photo of a betta whose tail had entirely fallen off from fin rot who I had just rescued. I knew nothing about betta fish and you were all SO kind and helpful.
Well, I just wanted to come back and show you his progress!
He’s definitely not the healthiest boy (I suspect he is blind in one eye, and he deeply struggles with swimming due to a crooked back) but his tail is almost completely grown back. He’s eating well, loves to say hello when I walk by, and started to build a bubble nest a few days ago.
I don’t know how much time I’ll get with him (he’s three, I believe) but we wouldn’t have made it out of the woods without your help. I still have a lot to learn, but we’re figuring it out as we go!
