Im 2/2 so far in the north east (NY). Best day from the surf so far.
14 fish in 3 hours- 10 slot size keeps and 4 over size all ranging from 281/2- 34”. I only kept one per regs to be clear.
Gold was on the money today but diamond jigs won the day according to other fisherman and a couple buddies.
