Went fishing with a buddy a year or two ago. He left one of his rods in the bed of my work truck, I kindve just scanned over it all this time because he's not a big fisher. He never asked for it back nor did we both really remember (a river beer sounds immaculate right now). The tip of the rod snapped off during that particular fishing/drinking session so in my mind, I chalked this rod up as trash. Fast forward to literally rn, I'm cleaning my truck bed out and took a look at it. I'm curious if it was at one point a half decent rod and we drunkenly abused it. It not worth anything now but it's still fun to know if we were either A.) careless B.) forgetful C.) ignorant D.) plastered
He asked me for it back a few weeks after then when I saw him again he couldn't of cared less about it.
This is my longest post yet and I have no idea why I typed all of this to ask a one sentence question😂😂😂😂 if you read all of this, lmk my writing paper score out of 14. It's my favorite number. Everything have a fantastic and safe Halloween tomorrow. This world is beautiful when looking through the "right" eye🤌❤️

Sorry
Writing gets a 3/14. I’d give you (and I’m being serious) $2.50 for it.
Dear Mr. Lebowski, I give you a grade of potato/14 in the technical category. I did find your short essay creative and enduring. As far as this rod goes….hmmmmm. I’d say if it can punch a lure further than you could chuck one tied off to a piece of mono, you go do that for an afternoon. You might just catch a fish, and that fish might just lend an ear. You tell that fish the story of the rod that bested it, that’s bout’ all we can do in this crazy world.
When this setup was new, it was probably a low-to-mid tier setup. Quantum gear isn’t cheap, but it’s certainly not as expensive as others, either. But with the broken tip, this is a $5 yard sale find, only because the reel might be restorable by someone who cares enough.
