Needed to respool my pike reels for the upcoming campaign. I really don't like braid too much so I went to the local store and asked for recommendations. Ended up going with 50lb apex braid by korda. I use a lot of monofilament lines from the same manufacturer and they never disappointed me. Unfortunately braid is still braid so I might have to spool up some 0.50mm mono snag leader material to make up for the awful abrasion resistance.
