The Last Cast. Closing Out Trout Season in My Rivendell

It's been a hell of a season fishing cool waters in the dense mountain forest of the Cascades. While the fish aren't always the biggest, the sense of adventure keeps me coming back. It's the possibility of discovering something new. It's putting some distance between daily life and getting lost in the current, where you might eventually catch a better version of yourself and perhaps a fish or two.
