I've been getting robbed constantly of my bait shrimp. I always add a sliver of fish bites so I'm still in the game. Just bought this and going to try it out in s couple of weeks.
You wrap it around your bait/ hook and it self locks.
Have you tried it? Is it worth the effort?

Got to. 10or 11 half hitch makes everything stick.
I use it when I fish with ghost shrimp, and sometimes when I’m using frozen shrimp as well
