I think he accidentally tore his fin. I was flaring him today it was his first time and i noticed there was a slit in his fin. The picture i took was days ago before he tore it. The lights when i was flaring him was bad so you can’t really see his colors. In his tank he looks different. Also don’t mind the plushies in the back i did it on my vanity.

Also yes his tank is cycled. He has two tank mates, Nerite snails (Richie and Ralphe). When he first would see them he was flare at them but after he ignored them. The my bettas name is Mr Krill.
No clue but thats one of the coolest bettas ive ever seen
