You have way too much flow from that filter. Bettas don’t do well when the filter is pushing them around
Yeah, for some reason it looks like it’s just the filter flow – but you said it seems like he’s fighting an invisible current? Could you turn the filter off for a second and see what it looks like when he swims? My understanding of swim bladder is they get wonky and sideways and he looks like he’s being physically pushed by the water.
too much current in water… you want very little… hes fighting it
