Might be too big and needs to be broken down
Peletts are too big, is it betta specific? Better to have smaller pellets or crush it.
They are greedy creatures and can harm themselves by big chunks of food.
As long as he eventually eats it, he’s fine. Yes, you can feed him micro pellets if need be, but as long as he is eating, he’s ok 🙂
