Betta Fish: Will his colors change? What coloration is this??

I love the way my little Jean Jacket looks but I was wondering if one day he'll just be a plain white fish? Will he get darker? I love the grey spots so much

    There’s no guarantee that he will change but I’ll say it’s very likely that hell become more colorful, just based on personal experience. I’ve had several a fish come to me looking plain and then bloom into some really pretty colors after a few weeks of good food, clean water, and tlc
