This isn't the first neglected fish tank, or pet in general, I've seen while house hunting. Breaks my heart but there's nothing I can do.
I watched the little guy for a few minutes – he sat completely still at the bottom of the tank the entire time.
I asked the realtor if the owners would consider rehoming the betta, but they said they're keeping him. Okay then…
