I am looking at adding a bixby motor to my Malibu PDL right on the powerpole oem mounting location and keeping my navarre aluminum rudder.
Just not sure if it will work well on this kayak.
I fish the socal area (saltwater) and some of my trips are under 7k miles total but others between 10 and 15 miles. Those long trips are killer and really need some aid. I like the bixby because it is ao lightweight. I want to keep the navarre rudder system because I dont want to always bring out the motor. Only for long days when going out far.
Thoughts?
