Is there anything besides tape that you have found to fix tears? Mainly looking for a fabric or something that might be able to use to sew, so I can seal up the tear in the fabric right next to the sled…don’t feel like a tape would hold up well there

Use upholstery thread its nylon and very strong. Might take a bit to hand stich but nothing terrible. While your at it I would reinforce some of the other weaker spots too. Dont even need a full stich just some sutures I guess to help out. Just my first idea man. There are probably adhesive fabrics as well.
