Hello, I've recently recieved 3 daiwa LT reels. An exceler lt, and two jdm legalis. Every one of these reels has noticeable warping of the frame between the body and foot of the reel to differing degrees of intensity. I find this to be very disappointing. I'm not sure how much this actually impacts line lay, or casting. It is likely a non issue but who really knows? comparably to my shimano nasci of the same size, this is non existent. Of course, these are 100 dollar reels and so this is somewhat to be expected, but It is also something so simple as proper alignment of the reel to the rod that is being missed by daiwa. Thoughts? Have any of you noticed this on your lt reels?
