Been hoping to pull some rainbows all summer. Where i live (eastern SD) they're only found in stocked lakes as Bass, Perch, Pike and Walleye are the normal in lakes.
Had day off, got chores done, much warmer than normal, and some time to kill. Funny part, had two 30yr old poles with bobbers, 3ft deep, with trout magnets on em while I used an ultralight with lures. First bobber dropped and as I set the hook, the 2nd bobber dropped. Go figure right. Knocked my water over when tossed 1st fish 6ft onto shore so I could grab the other rod. Lol.
