My uncle gifted me this Ambassadeur 6000 reel. He said that it is his grandfathers old reel that he used to pull 20 kg salmon, problem is that I have zero idea how to use it. Don’t know how to set the brakes and drag etc

Maybe start with a small unconventional bait caster. They are a bit smaller but controlled the same. There are tons of videos on yt.
