i’ve had this guy since about march. started in a 5 gallon, was absolutely thriving. upgraded him to a 10 gallon because it felt too small. was great at first, shortly after he became like this. refusing to eat pellets or worms, barely moves, fins are rotting, looks like he is nipping them too. put him back in his 5 and zero improvement. he is miserably and starving himself.
i think the water testing looks good, i have been giving him some salt baths. i really don’t know what else to do.

I’m going to the same thing I realized have taken water samples, as well as pictures to a reputable aquarium. Mine died because they came from a big box store, which you can’t trust. I don’t know if that’s the same situation with you, but that’s what happened to me unfortunately. 🤦🏻♂️
Nitrates are low though, should trust when atleast 5-10ppm. It could just be stressed to a new environment.
Put some catappa leaves in his tank and leave the lights off the majority of the day. He is going to be super stressed with the moving around. I upgraded my betta to a 10 gallon and he rapidly declined within a few days and in a moment of panic I started his 3.7 from scratch and put him in it. He was doing terrible and I kept trying to make sure he was okay. Someone recommended the catappa leaves and he made a huge difference in 2 days. From acting like yours to begging for food again. Trust me, add the leaves and leave the lights off to let him relax and if you check on him try not to move him or bother him unless absolutely needed
