I think I did both of these correctly but not sure. They are pretty straight when I’m holding them.
I don’t know if a jig head or EWG weedless is the better option for the rage swimmer. For the bitsy jig, would the minnow or a craw work better?

I’m in central MI, fishing rivers, pretty rocky bottom with depths ranging for 2 feet all the way up to 10-12.
I’ve caught a variety but looking to get SMB and walleye.

    The hook for the swimmer is pretty small, but hooked up correctly.

    For the jig, you set it up right, but i typically try to get less plastic on the hook by running it through the plastic closer to the top rather than down the dead center. It gives your hook more room for the hook set.

    Also, what is your plan with this jig? That trailer is usually best for swimming/pinging, but that looks like a finesse/bottom contact jig.
