Been fishing for about a year now and have typically been targeting bass. I didn’t catch my first rainbow until a few days ago and caught two around 17-18 inches. Went out yesterday and caught this guy less than 5 minutes in. No ruler on me, but he measured 3.5 Michelob ultras. By my calculations, that’s close to 21 inches.
Any tips on best way to hold a trout of this size to get the best pic?
Also, caught him with a 3.5 inch bluegill keitech easy shiner swimbait on a screw lock swimbait jig head.
