My first actual carp rig. The pack bait that’s going on the method feeder is crushed up koi pellets with fermented sweet corn. Located in Japan btw. How can I improve this?

The bait is too close to the hook and the bait looks too wet.

Bait too close to the hook(remove 1 or 2), rig too long 10-15 cm, BUT sure you can catch with it like this too
