Harbor friend end nippers are excellent for making clean flush cuts to remove dividers on my cheap walmart trays to open up space. diagonal cutters can easily make vertical slits as well for spinner baits. i cracked the plastic before using the End nippers to make flush cuts
i still have to sand the edges so they are smooth but it spares using power tools which can create heat and melt the plastic.
