just for context I am injured and trying to find things to do, my brother left me this old rod he’d use to target Carp from Lakes around the east of england, I’m not one for sitting next to a lake but have a few spots along estuaries and tidal rivers near me which id like to take a go at fishing. Is this rod going to be suitable for lure fishing along a Tidal River?
