When I first got him, I could have sworn he flares with his operculum + a little beard-like curtain he is hiding beneath the operculum???
But now I don't see that beard-like curtain. I knew I saw it cause it was marble in color which surprised me for his platinum one.
Not sure if it disappears as they mature or he doesn't fully see any threat from a mirror and just half-flares lol
