So my friend was given this betta by her bf, but they broke up. She proceeded to let the fishes tank get DISGUSTING and then posted in our sorority gc that she was planning to let it die and if anyone cleaned the tank they could have him for free. As a vegetarian I had to help this fish and I immediately cleaned his tank. I love Swim Shady so much already but im worried his previous living conditions left him in bad shape. I have no previous betta experience or knowledge, but I have been doing my best to research but idk what is normal or not. Please lmk if you have any care suggestions or spot anything abnormal! thank you so much i just want the best for my new adopted baby!
