Meet Circe the Chonk. I feed her a total of three betta pellets per day (spaced apart) 5 days per week and fast her on weekends. But she’s still so overweight! I catch her eating baby bladder and ramshorn snails sometimes, and I have lots of those (as a snail enthusiast) so I think she feasts pretty much continuously. I’ve tried cutting down the food I give and fasting her every other day and haven’t seen any improvement. I’m convinced it’s because there are always baby snails to eat.
Any advice? Or is she just destined to be a thicc girl? 10gal tank.
