Hello it's my first time on this sub redddit and I need help
I just noticed something about my fishing reel, the metalic coat on it is coming , i wanted to ask if there is a way to repair it and how do I avoid it from happening again .

Usually that is due to corrosion! Is it a magnesium bodied reel?
