Hey all, looking for someone help. Been using an Intex Exursion inflatable kayak for a few years now and looking to finally upgrade. I saw this one posted locally and wondering how this holds up. What should I be looking for if I go check it out? Listed for 500 and this is the only photo available right now.
Worth taking a look? Any help is appreciated.
Fish in local lakes and a calm bay, no rough waters or anything like that.

Start with condition. Check for cracks along the underside of the hull, keel damage. Check around all scupper holes for cracks. It can be common for some models to develop cracks at the seat mount location(s) also. Once you verified the structural condition of the boat it’s just a matter of what will or won’t suit your needs. Will you fish rivers or more lakes? Is stability a priority? How much will you want to customize or upgrade over time and will the boat accommodate that? Compare used prices to similar boats and then compare to the new price, especially this time of year lots of great deals on boats. Good luck with your search!
