Betta Fish: Is this a male or female?

Hi there,

I’m new to raising Bettas.
I bought this Betta and I’m not sure if it’s a male or a female.

I went to the shop three times, first time an employee said it’s a female, second time another employee said it’s a baby male and third time (I think not an expert) the employee just sold the fish as an female, because the price tag just said so.

I bought it in a hardware store(pretty common in Germany).
The first two employees (from the fish department) seemed like it’s their hobby with knowledge and the third one was from another department, so just reading the label.

What would you guys say? Is it a female or a male?
And is it a baby?
