I plan on adding more live plants into the tank as I just got him last week. I really love the color and decorations, but if they will truly hurt my boy I will take them out. He seems very happy tho so pls lmk

yes they can leak harmful toxins into the water. I’d recommend regular gravel, sand, or aqua soil. i’d also take out that fake plant in the back bc bettas can get stuck in them and die, also get more hiding spots for him, maybe a piece of drift wood, or a cave
