Hi All-
I fish the Rockies all winter. I’m looking for very warm gloves that give me as much dexterity as possible to handle my rod, reel, and line. These are not for fish handling. I take my gloves off to handle the fish. Thanks in advance.

Simms half finger wool gloves with optional nitrile gloves underneath in very cold conditions if the wool gets wet.
It’s the only type of gloves I’ve tried that work for fly fishing
First Lite Rugged Wool fingerless gloves if you want thick and sturdy merino. Keeps my hands warm especially if you wear a pair of latex gloves underneath to block the wind and water from hitting your finger tips.
Nitrile gloves with a wool glove on top. The wool will still insulate when it’s wet and the nitriles keep your hands dry which is key to being warm.
