i believe the people who hate on snails also probably over feed their tank, directly causing them to be a nuisance. snails are the best damn clean up crew you could ask for. gets into all the crevices and leaves.

i think a small percent of hobbyist hates snails,
a huge chunk find them unsightly,
the experienced bunch find them beneficial,
while freaks like you find them spectacular.
