Betta Fish: Missing my old bettas

Just wanted to share em, I’ve missing them a lot recently. I have got a new betta to keep me company, but that doesn’t erase my old gal and guy. Chilli Pepper and Ghost respectively.

Chilli was a small but feisty gal who would bite shrimp in half just to eat them and was curious about everything. I did a U turn after I left the pet store when I thought about how bored she would be in a bowl or empty tank. She was a bully but she was smart, beautiful and always active. Pampered despite her greedy attitude lol. She loved nipping everything she saw just incase it was food. Including my fingers.

Ghost was a sweet old man who lived till he was 4. He never hurt a shrimp or snail and enjoyed stealing their food if anything. Always happy and excited to be near me. He was the first betta fish I ever owned, I took him from work after he was sitting on the shelf for 4 months. Still the loveliest betta I’ve ever owned! He loved checking in on his snail and shrimp friends and hanging out on his plants.

I’ll always wish that I could’ve given them everything they could ever need or want, but I hope they’re at peace. Love em <3
