I’m looking to upgrade from my 18, and am wondering which I should go with. As far as I know they are very similar but the 28 had auto depth. I can get the 20 for a bit cheaper but am wondering if the extra $ is worth it for the 28. Just looking to buy one now cause these tend to get pricey during the season

28 has more colors and a better low power/weed mode. Also has auto depth setting and digital depth read out which works great but isn’t’ necessary.
Nothing game changing but a few extra features.
Also the 28 has the pro view transducer which isn’t a fixed cone. It’s “adjustable” as it enlarges when you increase gain. Some like that and some don’t. The 20 will have a fixed cone no matter the gain.
