I got adopted my betta Lil Guy from my Fiancé’s brother’s in laws. They were abusing him, his water was so dirty you couldn’t even see him. They had moved and left him behind and they were just going to “throw” him away. I felt so horrible for him, I wanted to give him a better life, even if he did end up passing away. Everyone telling me I was wasting my money, that he looks sick and they never gave him the life he deserved and needed. I just wanted to make him feel a little love even if he passes. It’s been a month now and he has completely changed. He is still improving, his behavior has been so positive and so much more active. Everyone says “wow he looks like a completely different fish”
Well he’s being taken care of by a completely different person who actually loves and cares for him. I don’t think he’s dying anytime soon, I see now he is growing some new fins. He is semi blind though (?) from his previous owners, but I’m hoping his eye sight improves though time. He also has a back deformity as well, he has just been through a lot and I’m just happy he’s a survivor!! I love you Lil Guy, soon you’ll have even more love and maybe some friends 🥰
