Today I bought these two to compare basic pained blades versus high quality painted blades to see if it matters. Which would you pick?

War Eagle

Strike King, the two blades make it look like a small school of fish swimming by and it also has a trailer hook on it, which is good for short strikes

Ive caught tons of fish on both. The war eagle is better for burning and generally covering water. They start up easier and are great in current and overall. That said, the tour grade strike kings have that big, full, “perfect skirt” and have caught me 5 fish over 8lbs. I like to slow roll them in cooler water. That skirt really is amazing. There used to be a version of that exact spinnerbait sold at Dick’s Sporting Goods with a white skirt and red strands along the belly that absolutely murdered big fish. The tour grade is better worked slow versus the war Eagle.
