2” curlytails on size 4 hooks. Lost two rigged just like these ones to snags. I was hopping to use them to try practicing weightless slow retrieve techniques, with temps dropping here, but if I’m just going to lose them to rocks then that won’t work. Any ideas for either not snagging these or what kinds of lures I can use for slow retrieval along the bottom without constantly needing to tie on a new leader? Because I’m certainly not catching anything when I stick a bobber over them (still haven’t caught a single thing on any sort of artificial lure that I’ve tried, my only successes have been bluegills on wax worms and a catfish on hotdog).
