In my 75 gallon, I had put a bubble wall in the back of the tank like I usually do, because I think it’s the nicest looking way of aerating my tank… but it just gets causes the AC110 to be noisy as all get out due to the air getting up into it. Is there any way to modify the AC110 to prevent that, or am I stuck just having to find a different aeration solution?

It hadn’t been a concern of mine for some time, since I’d been using an FX2 on here… but then I got a 125 and moved some of my fish over there, and the FX2 seemed like it would be better served over there, with me going back to a HOB on the 75. I’d had a similar issue with my Tidal 75 before and the bubble wall, but remember finding ways to minimize the noise… and the AC110 is noisier still. But quieter at baseline without the bubble wall.
Love your goldfish. Lionheads and Ranchus are probably my favorite of the fancy varieties.
Get an extension tube for the intake. If the intake is lower the bubbles can be positioned behind it and it won’t have a chance to suck up the air.
I put them in front of the return tube so they don’t enter it.
A sponge over the intake will help to a degree.
