Using a bunch of new equipment, today I managed this decent hatchery rainbow from the McKenzie River. Using my new 9 foot 6 weight, paired with a thrift store spooled reel, and wearing chest waders and wading boots for the first time ever, I got this fish into my new net on a bead head pheasant tail. Learning new tricks with the nymphs.
