One of my girls died the other day after pine coning, i believe it was dropsy. Is it happening to a different girl in a different tank, she’s gotten really big ( she was big when I got her but she was eating all the guppies food too, I fed her 2-3 pellets every night ) she also was very active 2 days ago and now she’s staying at the top by the heater constantly and not swimming. I love all my fish so much and I’m just so confused an don’t want any more to be sick or die.
7 ph, 0 amm and 10 ppm nitrate. Should I give her a salt bath or is she okay, and if I give her a salt bath if she’s healthy would it hurt her?
Yes I have it filtered and heated 78 degrees

I think shes just fat. Keep an eye on her just in case, but id say its highly possible shes just fat if shes eating all the food
Holy chunk, you need to fast him ASAP
Turns out my boyfriend was also feeding her while I was at work and school and would put 5 “pinches” of food into the tank
Is this a sorority? It looks heavily underplanted and everyone looks HUGE. Everyone in there needs to go on a diet.
[Dropsy](https://www.petmd.com/fish/conditions/urinary/dropsy-fish) is not a disease. It is a symptom.
Very fat, but I don’t see any pineconing
Fast them for two or three days.
I had a fat fish. I didn’t know different. I immediately thought dropsy(what LFS told me) and panicked. So I euthanized him with Clove Oil. I feel so guilty every single day too knowing what I do now. R.I.P Umi. 😭
