Betta Fish: Is my guy happy?

Happy Friday yall!

I am a complete newbie, so I apologize in advance for the silly question, but I am trying to identify “normal” behavior. Does my fish look happy? I am hoping to upgrade to a bigger tank for Christmas and get live plants soon, but he currently has a bubble nest so I figure he has to be doing ok, but he is very active and sometimes swims at the glass so I just want to make sure that he doesn’t look stressed to the trained eye. I recently did a liquid test kit and water levels are good.
