I had her for 6 months.
I know I made a lot of mistakes along the way, even up to the end, but I’ve chosen not to dwell on that. Rather, I’ve learned a lot from Smoky (and Princess, who is still alive and well in a very good community tank), and I really appreciate this unexpected experience. I loved her so much, and I made her as comfortable as I could in the end.
It might take me a couple of days, but I will get another betta for my tank, and continue this journey that Smoky and Princess started me on. I have fallen in love with aquarium keeping, and I want to do it as long as I can.
